J R Painting Contractors is located over at 113 Parvati Evershine Millenium Paradise. That is in Thakur Village, right inside the Ashoka Centre and near the big Bata showroom. It is a pretty crowded spot, especially on weekends when everyone is out shopping and the traffic near the showroom is a nightmare. We have been doing painting work for a long time now. Most of our jobs are in the apartments around here. Thakur Village has grown a lot and there are always new buildings needing work. My team and I carry our gear from one flat to another. We spend a lot of time on scaffolding or ladders. It is not an easy job, especially when it is humid outside. We keep our supplies at the Ashoka Centre spot. You can see our signs near the Bata showroom sometimes. I like the area because everything is close by. When we take on a job, we just focus on getting the paint on the walls without making too much of a mess. Sometimes paint drips, so we spend a lot of time putting down old newspapers and plastic sheets. It is just part of the routine. We are regular people doing a regular job. People know us by name around the building. We don't use fancy talk. We just show up, do the painting, and move on to the next house. It is a simple way of making a living for us.
