The workshop is located right off the Narhe-Ambegaon Service Road in Pune. If you are driving along Survey No: 100/5, you will find us easily enough. It is a busy area with a lot of movement and dust from the road. Inside, we have our machines and the team working on various automation setups. Things can get a bit loud when everything is running at once. We moved into this spot in Ambegaon a while back because we needed the space for the bigger projects. The floors are concrete and usually have a few oil spots here and there, but that’s just part of the job. Most of us arrive early to beat the Pune traffic, which seems to get worse every month. We sit around with tea before the shift starts and talk about what needs fixing. It isn't a corporate office with cubicles; it's a place where we actually build things. We handle different types of electrical and mechanical parts. Sometimes a design doesn't work out on the first try, so we have to go back and tweak the wiring or the code. It takes patience. The guys on the floor know their stuff and don't need much supervision. We just keep our heads down and finish the tasks on the list. When the sun goes down, we lock up the gates and head home to the suburbs. It’s a decent living and we like the work.
