Our setup is a bit unique because we are operating out of Damodar Villa in Kothrud, Pune. It’s house number 55, and it’s got a real neighborhood feel to it. International Design And Engineering Solutions Pvt Ltd is basically a group of us working on technical drawings and structural plans. Pavan M Pathak and Yogesh Sinkar are usually around, handling the day-to-day stuff. The office is basically a few rooms filled with large monitors and some drafting tables that haven't been used in a while since everything went digital. We like being in Kothrud 411038 because it’s close to everything but doesn't feel like a cold office park. We have a lot of books on engineering codes sitting on the shelves, and there’s usually some snack sitting on the corner of someone’s desk. It’s not a fancy corporate environment. We wear regular clothes and talk about cricket while we work on complex designs. Sometimes the neighbors’ dogs bark during our calls, but we just laugh it off. It’s a local business through and through. We handle everything from small parts to bigger structural projects, and we don't feel the need to dress it up with a lot of marketing talk. It’s just about getting the dimensions right and making sure the math checks out before we send the files over to the clients. We stay late most nights but it is worth it.
