Intercon International

Intercon International is based in the Salunke Vihar area of Kondhwa, here in Pune. We’re located in Building A4, specifically Flat Number 9. It’s part of the A.W.C.H.S. complex, which is a fairly big residential society. Working from a flat gives us a different perspective than being in a commercial tower. It’s a lot more relaxed and we don’t have to deal with elevators that take ten minutes. Salunke Vihar is a great neighborhood with lots of trees and people walking their dogs. We do international work, hence the name, but our daily life is very local. We go to the local market for supplies and eat at the nearby dhabas. Our office is basically a few rooms filled with desks and communication gear. Since we deal with different time zones, someone is often here late at night or very early in the morning. The society is quiet, which helps when we're on long calls. We've been in this spot for a while now and we don't really feel the need to move to a fancy IT park. It's comfortable here. We know the security guards and the neighbors. It’s a straightforward business where we just focus on getting the logistics and connections right. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just make sure things get from point A to point B without any trouble.
