This office of Infosys Bpo Ltd is situated out here in Pradesh, India. It’s a fairly standard setup where we focus on the daily grind of business processing. Being in this part of the country means we deal with a lot of local weather changes, but we keep the office running no matter what. Inside, it's mostly the sound of fans and people talking quietly on their headsets. We have a lot of computers that stay on all the time. Our team is made up of people who have been doing this for a long while, so we don't need much instruction anymore. We just get our assignments and get to it. The building isn't anything special to look at from the outside, but it’s comfortable enough for us inside. We spend a lot of time looking at spreadsheets and making sure all the numbers add up like they should. It can be repetitive, but we find ways to make it interesting. Usually, someone brings in some homemade sweets to share, which makes the afternoon go by a lot faster. We don't have fancy coffee machines, just a kettle and some milk powder in the back. It’s a very practical way of working. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to make sure the work we do is accurate and finished on time. It’s a regular job for regular people.
