We have our office at Shop Number 20 in the Shubham Complex over in Talegaon, Pune. It’s a local spot where we handle the business side of our greenhouse farmer producer group. Maval is known for this kind of farming, so we wanted to be close to the actual work. The shop itself is quite small and can get a bit crowded when a few of us are in there at once. We spend our time talking about greenhouse supplies, plastic sheets, and how the flowers or vegetables are growing. It is a very hands-on type of business, so we don't have time for polished presentations or anything corporate like that. We are just regular people who know a lot about farming under cover. The complex where we are is usually pretty busy, so there is a lot of noise from the other shops and the street. We’ve got a few old desks and some filing cabinets that have seen better days. It is not about looking good; it is about getting the produce moved and making sure the farmers get a fair deal. Some days are slow and we just sit and talk about the rain, and other days it is a complete mess of phone calls and logistics. We just take it as it comes. It is a simple life and we are happy to be part of the community here in Talegaon.
