Our place is at 898 Kokate Sadan in Sadashiv Peth, Pune. If you know the city, you know Sadashiv Peth is a place with a lot of history and very narrow streets. Kokate Sadan is a traditional kind of building, and we have our office tucked inside. It’s a very different feel from the big IT parks on the edge of the city. Here, everything feels a bit more personal. We deal with home finance, helping folks get their houses sorted out. The office is often filled with the smell of nearby snacks and the sound of bells from the local temples. We don’t have much room for fancy stuff, so it’s just desks, chairs, and stacks of documents. Most of us have worked in this area for a long time, so we know the shortcuts through the lanes. We handle the paperwork, talk to the visitors, and try to keep things organized. It’s not always easy with so many papers, but we manage. The atmosphere is very local. We speak the local language and understand what people in Pune are looking for when they want a home. It is a quiet, steady kind of work. We aren't trying to change the world; we are just trying to help someone get a roof over their head while working out of a nice old building in the heart of the city. We keep a simple routine and make sure the files are in order.
