Icici Lombard

Icici Lombard in Pune is based out of Apparajita Apartments. We are in Flat No 4, Block A. It’s quite near the Maratha Mandir in Bavdhan. Pune 411021 is a nice area, a bit more relaxed than Mumbai but still growing fast. Our office is basically a converted apartment, so it has that homey feel. You walk through the main gate of the apartments and find us in Block A. It’s nice because we have a small balcony where we sometimes take breaks to breathe some fresh air. The rooms are filled with desks and cupboards for all the insurance files. It’s a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time, but we manage. We’ve got a small water cooler in the corner that everyone gathers around. The neighbors in the apartment block are used to us being here now. We try not to make too much noise. Most of our day is spent looking at spreadsheets and answering emails. It’s a quiet kind of work. We don’t have a receptionist, so whoever is closest to the door usually opens it. It’s a very simple setup. We like it this way because it’s practical and doesn’t feel like a cold corporate office. We just do our bit and then go home to our own families in the evening. It’s just a normal job in a normal apartment.
