Our Ibm office here in Pune is at 7 Girijanak Society in the Gultekdi area near the Marketyard. It is a bit of a different setup than what you might expect for a big tech name. We are based in a residential society, so it is quite calm most of the time. The area around Marketyard is always busy with trucks and people selling produce, but inside the society, it is much quieter. We have set up our workstations in a way that makes sense for the space we have. It is a lot of people on laptops and talking on headsets. We do not have a big cafeteria, so we usually just go out to the local spots in Gultekdi or bring lunch from home. The neighbors are mostly families, so we try not to be too loud when we are leaving late. Pune has good weather most of the year which makes the commute nice. We handle various technical tasks and support from this location. It is a small, dedicated group of us here. We do not have fancy glass elevators or a gym. It is just a regular building where we put in our hours and try to solve whatever tech problems come our way. We have been in this spot for a while and it feels like a familiar part of the neighborhood now.
