I Am A Free Lancer

I work out of my place in Pune, right near Kothari Blocks on Bibwewadi Road. It’s Flat No 9 in Pooja Society. Working as a freelancer means I don’t have a boss or a fixed office to go to every morning. I just wake up, make some tea, and sit down at my desk. It’s been like this for a bit now. Some days are really packed with things to do, and other days I’m just waiting for a message to come through. The society is usually quiet, which helps when I need to get things finished. I handle different types of tasks depending on what people need. It’s nice because I get to stay in my own space. Sometimes I miss having coworkers to talk to, but then I remember I don’t have to deal with traffic on Bibwewadi Road during rush hour. I’ve lived in Pune for a while and I like the vibe here. My setup is pretty basic, just a computer and a lamp. I try to stay organized but sometimes the papers pile up. It’s a lot of self-discipline to keep going when nobody is watching you, but I’ve gotten used to it. Every project is a bit different. I just take things one day at a time from my little corner of the apartment. It is a simple way to earn a living.
