We are over here at Office No 2 on Netaji Subhash Road. It’s right by the Marine Drive area, which means there’s usually a bit of a breeze if the windows are open, though mostly we keep them shut because of the noise from the street. Deccan Gymkhana is a busy spot. Every day is pretty much the same routine. I get in, unlock the door, and start going through the files. It isn’t a fancy place with modern furniture or anything. Just some desks, chairs, and a lot of paper. You can hear the traffic outside all day long. Sometimes people stop by just to ask for directions because they get lost looking for the other offices in the building. We’ve been at this address for a while now. It’s a convenient spot for us. There is a tea stall just down the road where we usually go around four in the afternoon when things get a bit slow. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it works for what we do. We just keep our heads down and handle the management work as it comes in. It’s mostly just keeping things organized and making sure the consultants have what they need. It isn't anything glamorous, just a regular office day in a busy part of the city. We see the same faces passing by the window every morning and just keep at it.
