Hotel Prathamesh

Hotel Prathamesh is located right in the middle of the chaos that is Swargate. If you know this area, you know how much noise and movement there is all day long. We aren't a hotel where you stay the night; we are a traditional eatery, which is what "hotel" often means in our neck of the woods. The kitchen starts early with the sound of large pots being moved around. We serve a lot of people who are catching buses or coming from the market. It’s a fast-paced environment where you have to be quick on your feet. The floor is made of hard stone and it has held up well over the years despite all the feet walking over it. We have simple benches and tables that are easy to wipe down. We don't have a menu with pictures; people usually just know what we have or they ask us. The tea is always brewing in the back, and the steam fills the room when it’s raining outside. We have a small drawer for cash and we don't use any fancy computers. It’s just paper and pen for us. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to use candles or torches, but we keep going. The staff has been here for years, and we are like a small family. We don't try to be anything we aren't; we are just a busy spot in Swargate.
