Hotel Athvan

Hotel Athvan is situated in Chandan Nagar, right near the Koteshwar Mahadev Temple at number 13. Being so close to the temple means we see a lot of people coming and going, especially on special days or during festivals. Our place is quite modest and doesn't have any of those big neon signs. We just have a small board outside so people know we’re here. Inside, it’s just a few tables and chairs where locals from Chandan Nagar come to sit. We spend most of our time in the kitchen preparing simple meals. It’s a lot of manual work, chopping vegetables and tending to the stove. We aren't a big hotel with rooms or anything; it's more of a local eatery. Sometimes it gets quite loud with the temple bells and the traffic outside, but we’re used to it by now. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the furniture is a bit worn out from years of use. We don't have a fancy website or any of that. Most of our customers are just people who live nearby or are visiting the Koteshwar Mahadev Temple. We try to keep things clean, but it’s a constant battle with the dust from the street. It’s just a small, local business where we do our best to get through the day's work. We like being part of this neighborhood and seeing the familiar faces every day. It’s a good enough life for us here.
