Hotel Asterix

If you’re looking for Hotel Asterix, we are over at the Shashi-Prabha Bunglow. It’s tucked into the Hirkani Housing Society in Sangvi. This is in the Pune-411027 area of Maharashtra. It’s not one of those huge hotels you see by the airport. It's more of a local place. We have been here for quite some time now. The building has a bit of character to it, being a bungalow and all. We spend a lot of time making sure the rooms are ready and the hallways are clean. It’s a lot of manual work, honestly. People come and go at all hours, so someone is usually around. We have our regulars who stay with us whenever they are in Pune for work or family stuff. It’s a quiet neighborhood for the most part, which guests seem to like. We don't have a big fancy lobby with a fountain. Just a desk and some chairs. Hotel Asterix is just our small business. We deal with the plumbing, the linens, and the bookings every single day. Sometimes the internet acts up or the rain gets heavy, but we just keep going. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, but that keeps the noise down. We’re just local people running a local spot. We keep some spare keys at the desk and try to remember all the names of the people who visit.
