Our company is Himmat Farmer Producer Company Limited. We are located at House Number 53 in Kupti, which is in the Kalamnuri area of Hingoli district. We chose the name 'Himmat' because it means courage, and honestly, you need a lot of that to be a farmer these days. Between the pests and the dry spells, it’s never an easy road. Our group is made up of local people who live right here in Kupti. We use H.No. 53 as our home base where we gather to talk about the business side of our crops. It’s a simple brick building, nothing special to look at. In Hingoli, we mostly focus on what the land gives us, like turmeric or soy. We don’t have a big marketing budget or a team of experts. We are the experts of our own fields because we’ve been walking them since we were kids. This company is just a way for us to stand a bit taller when it comes time to sell. It was tough getting all the paperwork done at first, but we stuck with it. We don’t use a lot of fancy words. If we say we have a good harvest, we mean it. It’s about being honest and working hard.
