Hatkeshwar Farmers Producer Company

We are the Hatkeshwar Farmers Producer Company, and our main base is in the village of Gorde. That’s in the Junnar taluka, which is part of the Pune district. Our office is at House Number 222, right in the heart of the village. It is a typical rural setup where everyone knows where everyone else lives. Junnar is a beautiful place, but the work we do is quite grounded and practical. We spend our time working with the local farmers who bring their produce to us. The house where we operate is old but solid, and it serves us well for all the meetings we have. There are no fancy chairs or air conditioning here; we just sit and talk about the crops and the rain. Being in Gorde means we are close to the fields, which is exactly where we need to be. We handle the paperwork for the producer company and try to find better ways to manage the harvest. It gets quite busy during the peak season, and sometimes the whole house is full of people. We don't use any high-tech systems, just some ledgers and a lot of conversations. It’s a very personal way of doing business, but it works for our community. We take things one day at a time, making sure that House Number 222 is always open for anyone who needs to discuss their farming business.
