I set up my workspace here in Kothrud at Sarvatra Housing Society a few years back. If you know Pune, you know Poud Road is always buzzing with traffic and people going to the shops. My office is in B1-32, which is tucked away enough that the noise doesn't bother me too much while I'm working. It’s a pretty standard setup, nothing fancy at all. I have my desk, a few cupboards for files, and a couple of extra chairs for when people drop by to discuss things. Most of the time it’s just me, Harshad Ghadge, handling the day-to-day tasks. Kothrud has changed a lot, but this society still has that old Pune feel where everyone knows each other. I usually get in early before the heat picks up and try to finish the heavy work by the afternoon. The light in the room is okay during the day so I don't have to keep the big lights on until it gets dark. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, so I end up taking the stairs, which is good for some exercise I guess. I don't really bother with big signs or marketing stuff because people usually find me through word of mouth or by just knowing the address. It’s a practical way to work and it suits the way I like to do things. Just straightforward, honest work without any of the extra polish you see in bigger companies. I just keep my head down and get it done.
