Hainahi Agro Farmer Producer Company Limited

Our company is run from house number 454 in Janephal, which is where Vijaykumar Champallal Nahatta lives. We are just local farmers from the village who wanted to try something different. Farming here is always a bit of a gamble with the weather and the prices, so we thought being a producer company might give us a bit more security. We aren't experts in business or anything like that. We just know our soil and what grows well in it. The house in Janephal is where we keep our receipts and have our little meetings. It’s usually pretty loud with everyone talking at once. We grow a variety of crops depending on what the rain looks like. It’s a lot of physical work and we don't have many modern luxuries. We just try to help each other out with harvesting and getting the bags to the market. We don't have a big plan for the future, we just focus on the next few months. We’re just regular folks who have worked the land for years. Sometimes we get frustrated with the paperwork, but we know it’s necessary to keep the company going. If you come by the house, you’ll probably find a few of us sitting around discussing the latest crop prices. It’s a very simple operation, nothing fancy at all. We are just trying to make the most of what we have in this small town.
