Gyns Farmer Producer Company Limited is based over at Home No 124 in Gharegaontq Paithan. Most of us here are neighbors or relatives who have been farming around Aurangabad for a long time. It wasn't always easy dealing with the crops and the markets on our own, so we decided to start this company. It's basically a way for us to handle things as a group. We spend most of our days out in the fields, then come back here to sort out the paperwork or talk about what needs doing next. There isn't any fancy office or anything like that. Just the house in the village where we keep our records and meet up. Sometimes the rain doesn't come when it should, and other times the prices aren't what we hoped for at the market. That's just how it goes in farming. Being in Paithan means we know the soil here pretty well. We try to help each other out with seeds or tools when someone is short. It's better than trying to do everything solo. We aren't looking to become some huge corporation. We just want to make sure the work we do in the dirt actually pays off for our families. If you come by House 124, you'll probably find one of us drinking tea and talking about the weather or the harvest. It’s a simple setup, but it works for what we need to get through the season together.
