Gurugajanan Farmer Producer Company Limited is set up near the Madhumita Mangal Karyalay in the Rammurthy area of Jalna. If you know the G.No.258 area, you know where we are. We’re just a group of local growers who felt like we needed to stick together to get through the seasons. It’s not easy being a farmer these days, so we use the company to pool our resources and share the load. We usually meet up at the office to discuss what everyone is planting and how we can get a better price at the market. There’s a lot of back and forth, and sometimes we don't agree on everything, but we all want the same thing in the end. We handle the seeds, the equipment, and the selling part of the business so the individual farmers can focus on the actual growing. Being close to the Mangal Karyalay means we are right in the middle of things, so it’s easy for members to stop by. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles, just some desks and a lot of papers. We’ve been part of this community for a long time, and we just want to see the local farms do okay. It’s about helping a neighbor out when they’re short on help or need a hand with their harvest. It's a team effort that keeps us all going through the year.
