Guru Tutorials

In Narayan Peth, Guru Tutorials is located right by Ashwin Hair Style. It is a bit of a landmark for people trying to find us. The building is an older one, typical of this part of Pune. We have some classrooms upstairs that you reach by a fairly steep set of stairs. The floors are made of old stone, and they stay relatively cool even when it is hot outside. We have a lot of students from the nearby colleges and schools coming in throughout the day. Because we are near a hair salon, there is always a bit of foot traffic and people chatting outside the entrance. The rooms are simple with basic benches and desks that have seen better days. We don't use much technology, just chalkboards mostly because they are reliable. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just open the windows and keep going with the lesson. Narayan Peth is a tight-knit area, so we know most of the shopkeepers around us. It is a bit cramped when a big class is in session, but we make it work. We spend our time explaining concepts and handing out practice sheets. It is just a local coaching spot where we do our best to get through the curriculum. It’s not fancy, but it gets the job done for the students who come here. Usually, I'm the one who locks up at the end of the day after the last student leaves the building.
