Our setup here in Pune is tucked away at Blue Bells in Flower Valley, Wano Wrie. It’s actually under the care of Brig Amarjit Singh at 504. It’s not your typical bank branch with tellers and long queues of people holding deposit slips. Instead, it feels more like a quiet administrative hub where we handle the details for Gulf Bank Kuwait. Being in a residential area like Flower Valley makes the workday feel a lot calmer than being downtown. We hear birds outside rather than constant honking. We deal with a lot of coordination and paperwork that comes in from overseas. It’s a lot of back-and-forth communication. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to wait, which gives us time to stretch our legs in the garden. We don't have a big sign outside. It’s more of a low-key operation where we focus on the tasks at hand without any distractions. The office is basically one big room with a few desks and a very old filing cabinet that squeaks every time you open it. We keep things simple and organized. It’s funny how banking can be done from such a peaceful spot in Pune. We’ve been here for a while and the neighbors don't even realize we’re working on international accounts. We just go about our business quietly and efficiently every single day.
