Guidance Centre For Competative Examination

This center is located over in the Kandivli Industrial Estate, specifically in the Shukrawar Peth area. It might seem a bit odd to have a study place in an industrial zone, but it stays relatively quiet once you are inside. We focus on helping people get ready for their competitive exams. There are always stacks of books and old test papers lying around on the desks. We have a few classrooms with basic benches and whiteboards that have seen better days. Students come here from all over the suburb, looking for a place to focus. We don't have air conditioning in every room, so the fans are always humming in the background. It is a no-frills kind of setup. We just provide the space and the materials needed to study. Sometimes the noise from the nearby workshops drifts in, but the students are usually too busy reading to notice. We keep the doors open from morning until late evening because that is when people have time to show up. Our staff is just a few of us who manage the schedules and keep the library organized. It’s not a big corporate institute with posters everywhere. It’s just a practical spot for people who are serious about their exams. We try to keep the lights bright and the tea kettle going for those long study sessions.
