Greensafe Environment And Agriculture Solutions Private Limited is located at Flat 10 in the Indraneel building in Bavdhan. It’s a bit different from a farm because we are in a more developed area of Pune. We started this because we wanted to bridge the gap between the city and the farm. We look at how to make agriculture better for the environment and for the people who eat the food. Our office isn't very large. It’s just a flat where we keep our files and meet with people. We aren't some big corporate entity with millions in the bank. We are a small team of people who actually care about the soil and the water. We spend a lot of time traveling out to the rural areas to see what’s actually happening on the ground. Then we come back to Bavdhan and try to figure out practical solutions. It’s a lot of trial and error. We don't have any polished sales pitches or fancy mission statements. We just talk to people in plain English and try to help them solve their problems. Sometimes it feels like we are just scratching the surface, but we keep going anyway. It’s a lot of long hours and paperwork, but it’s worth it when we see a farm doing better. We are just trying to be useful in a world that’s changing too fast.
