Greendhan Producer Company Limited

Greendhan Producer Company Limited is mostly just a bunch of us locals from Chikhali. We use Shri Murlidhar S Bhutda’s place on DP Road as our main address. If you know the area, DP Road gets quite a bit of traffic, so it’s easy for the trucks to find us when they need to pick up a load. We have the pin code 442301 on our mail, but mostly people just drop by if they have questions. We aren’t really business people in the traditional sense; we are farmers first. We decided to register this company so we could buy things in bulk and maybe save a few rupees on fertilizer and tools. It’s tough out here sometimes with the way prices go up and down, but being part of this group makes it feel a little less like we are on our own. Murlidhar is kind enough to let us use his space for the office work, though we’d all much rather be outside than sitting at a desk. There is always something to fix or some crop that needs attention. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist, just a place where we keep our records and meet up to talk about the next season. It’s a very simple operation. We just want to get through the year with a bit of profit and keep the soil healthy. It’s not fancy, but it is ours.
