Out here on the Pune-Pandharpur Road, things move at a certain pace. We are based in Pisewadi, which is near Malshiras in the Solapur district. Our spot is at number 318. We call ourselves Green Fingers Farmer Producer Company Limited because that’s what we are, just a group of people who know how to work the soil. It’s a dry area sometimes, so we spend a lot of time talking about water and crops. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a place to keep the records straight and meet with the other farmers from the village. Being on the main road helps with moving things around, even if the dust gets everywhere. We do a lot of the heavy lifting ourselves. It isn’t like those big city companies you see on the news.
