Great Search Staffing is based over here in the Deccan area of Pune. It’s a lively part of town and we’ve been operating from here for a while. Our main thing is helping people find jobs and helping businesses find people, which sounds simple but it takes up all our time. We spend most of the day on the phone or answering emails that never seem to stop coming in. The office is tucked away and isn't the easiest to find if you don't know the landmarks, but we like the quiet of it. We aren't some big global firm; we’re just a local team trying to make things happen for folks in Pune. Sometimes it’s frustrating when we can’t find the right fit for a role, but we keep looking. We have stacks of resumes everywhere and our desks are usually a mess of notes and coffee cups. It’s a lot of back and forth between different companies and candidates. We try to be honest with everyone who walks through the door about what the market is like. It’s not always easy news to give, but that’s how we do things. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. People mostly find us through word of mouth or by just stopping in. It feels good when someone actually gets a job they wanted. That makes the long hours worth it.
