You can find us at house number 1086/B/1 in Bavdhan Budruk. It’s in the Mulashi area of Pune. Even though Pune is growing so fast and getting all these tech companies, we are still tied to the land in Mulashi. We are a farmer producer company that focuses on the stuff grown right around here. It’s not a corporate setup with suits and ties. Most of the time we’re in our work clothes, dealing with the actual produce. We started this because we noticed that individually we couldn’t get the best prices or find the right buyers. So we joined together. It’s been a bit of a steep learning curve figuring out the rules and the taxes, but we’re getting there. The office in Bavdhan is where we keep the ledgers and meet up after a long day in the fields. It’s a noisy place sometimes with everyone talking at once, but we get things decided. We deal with whatever is in season, from vegetables to grains. The weather in Mulashi can be unpredictable, especially with the heavy rains we get. We just try to plan as best as we can. It’s about being practical and helping each other out. We’re just a local group of guys from the Pune district trying to make a go of it in the agriculture business. It's tough but it's our way of life.
