Goverment Office

The Government Office here is located in the Punyadham building, specifically in the B Wing on the second floor. We are in Flat No 4, which we have converted into our workspace. The address is Sr No 39 1 2, right near Tempo Chowk in Ramnagar, Vadgaonsheri. Being in Pune 411014, we are in a part of the city that has grown a lot lately. Tempo Chowk is always buzzing with people and vehicles, so there is never a dull moment when you look out the window. Since we are in a flat, it feels a bit more like a home than a sterile office, which I think makes people feel a little more comfortable when they come in. We handle various official matters and there is usually a line of people waiting in the hallway during the morning hours. The space is a bit cramped when it gets busy, but we make it work. We’ve got our filing cabinets lined up against the walls and a few desks squeezed in. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but we just wait it out or use our torches to find what we need. It’s a very practical environment where the main goal is just to process the documents and help the public with their requests. It’s not fancy, and the paint is peeling a bit in the corners, but it is a real place where real work gets done.
