Golden Hill Farmers Producer Company Limited

Golden Hill Farmers is located at House Number 150 in Kedgaon. This is right in the Daund area of Pune district. We are a group of farmers from this village who decided to put our resources together to make things work better. It’s easier to handle the crops when you have a few extra hands involved. Most of us have lived in Kedgaon our whole lives. We know these fields pretty well. Our daily life involves a lot of waking up early and checking the water supply. The soil in this part of Pune is decent, but you have to stay on top of it every day. We don't have a corporate headquarters, just the building there at H.N 150 where we meet up and talk about what needs doing next. Sometimes we sit around and figure out the seeds or who is taking the truck into town for supplies. It's a simple way of living. We aren't looking to grow into some huge company. We just want to make sure the farming stays steady for everyone involved. Sometimes the heat in Daund gets pretty bad in the summer months, so we have to adjust our working hours to the early morning. We just take things one day at a time here. If the harvest is good, we’re happy. If things are slow, we just keep working. It’s just how things go for farmers in our part of the world. No fancy talk, just the usual day-to-day business of being on the land.
