Gokul Hair Dresser

Gokul Hair Dresser is over at Samarth Complex on Dhankavdi Main Road. We are right across from Pratibha Nagar, which makes us easy to find if you’re in the Dhankavadi area of Pune. The shop has been here through many seasons. It’s a local place where men and kids come for their regular trims. We have a few chairs and big mirrors that have seen a lot of faces over the years. Dhankavdi Main Road is always bustling, so there is always noise from the traffic and people shouting outside. Inside the shop, it’s a bit different. We just focus on the hair. We don't have fancy lights or expensive coffee machines. People come here for a basic haircut and maybe a bit of a talk. The complex itself is quite busy with other shops too. We are part of the daily routine for many folks in the 411043 area. Sometimes the floor is covered in hair when we’re too busy to sweep right away. It’s just the two or three of us working here most days. We like the familiarity of the neighborhood. Being opposite Pratibha Nagar means we get a lot of students and families. It’s a straightforward business. No big promises, just a seat and a haircut. We’ve been doing this a long time and plan to stay right here in the complex. It's what we know best. The ceiling fan wobbles a bit, but it keeps us cool.
