Global Manufacturing Services

Our workshop is situated near Vadgaon Budruk, close to the S L U College Road. It’s a bit of an older building, number 25, unit 4. Being near Ellis Bridge means there is always a lot of movement and noise around the area. Global Manufacturing Services is really about the hands-on stuff that needs to get done. We have machines running and the smell of oil and metal is pretty much everywhere you go in the shop. It’s not the kind of place where you’d want to wear a nice suit or fancy shoes. We mostly wear work clothes that can get a bit dirty or greasy. The space is a bit cramped because of all the equipment and parts we have stored, but we know where everything is kept. Most of the staff has been here for a long time, so we have a good rhythm together. We get the orders in, figure out the specs on paper, and get to work on the floor. The college kids are always walking by outside on the road, which makes the area feel quite lively even on slow days. We don’t have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy brochures for us. We just show the work we’ve done if anyone comes by to ask. It can get pretty hot in the afternoons, but we have some big windows that let in a bit of a breeze. It’s an honest day’s work for us. We just make things.
