Global Manpower Solutions

Out here in Pune, specifically in the 411037 area, we run Global Manpower Solutions. It’s a pretty straightforward operation and we’ve been here for a while. We have a modest office where we spend the day talking to people looking for work and companies that need some help. Maharashtra can be a busy place, and Pune is right in the middle of all that growth and noise. Our office isn't fancy at all. We have some wooden desks, a few fans that hum all day long, and stacks of resumes that we try to keep organized in folders. It’s a lot of phone calls and sitting at the computer screen. We try to keep things honest with the people who come in looking for a job. There’s no point in making things sound better than they are in reality. Most of us live nearby, so we don’t have to deal with the worst of the city traffic every morning, which is a blessing. We’ve got a small pantry area for lunch, and usually, someone brings something from home to share with the rest of us. It’s a friendly atmosphere, but we stay busy from morning to night. The work is mostly about matching the right person to the right spot, which takes a lot of patience and phone time. Sometimes it’s frustrating when things don’t line up, but that’s just how it goes. We don’t have any big corporate slogans hanging on the walls. It’s just us doing what we can.
