Giftwala

Down in Kalyani Nagar, specifically in the Nyati Medows area, you will find our little shop called Giftwala. It is a pretty straightforward place. We decided to set up here because it is a nice part of town with a lot of people living nearby. Our shop is mostly filled with things people need for birthdays, anniversaries, or just to brighten up someone's day. It isn't a huge operation. It’s just us, making sure we have enough stock on the shelves. Sometimes we run out of things faster than we expect, but we try to keep it balanced. The atmosphere inside is usually quiet unless it's a weekend. We spend a lot of our time unpacking new items and figuring out where to put them. It’s a lot of manual work, moving boxes and organizing shelves. We don't use any fancy marketing tricks. People usually find us because they live in the apartments nearby or they are just walking through Kalyani Nagar. We like it that way. It feels more personal when you know the people coming through the door. We aren’t trying to be the biggest store in Pune; we just want to be a reliable place for the neighborhood. It gets a bit dusty sometimes with all the inventory, but we keep it tidy enough for the customers. It’s just a regular local business doing its thing every day. We open up in the morning and stay until late evening most days.
