Giftorium

We have been running Giftorium at Shop No B 4 on the ground floor of the Hujurpaga Building for quite a long time now. It’s located right on Bajirao Road, which is almost always busy with traffic and people going about their day in Narayan Peth. Being opposite N M V High School, we see a lot of students and parents passing by every morning and afternoon. Our shop isn't anything fancy, just a regular place where we keep various gift items on the shelves. We spend a lot of our time just dusting the displays and making sure everything looks halfway decent. The city has changed around us, but we just keep doing our thing here. Most days involve opening the shutters early and getting the stock organized. It can be a bit noisy with the horns honking outside, but you get used to it after a while. We don’t have a big team or anything, just a few of us making sure the shop stays open and ready. Sometimes we just sit and watch the rain or the crowds while waiting for someone to come in. It’s a simple way to make a living, and we know many of the neighbors by sight. We aren't trying to be the biggest store in Pune, just a local spot where you can find a small gift when you need one. It’s a lot of routine work, like unboxing new items and checking the inventory, but that’s just how it goes for us.
