Gensis Classes

If you know S B Road in Pune, you know how crowded it gets around Deccan Gymkhana. Gensis Classes is tucked away in that part of the 411004 zip code. It’s a lively area, maybe a bit too lively sometimes when the traffic really picks up in the late evenings. We’ve got this space where the rooms aren't exactly huge, but we managed to fit enough benches for everyone to sit reasonably comfortably. The floors are that old-fashioned tile that’s easy to clean but looks a bit dull after all these years. You’ll see plenty of students standing around the entrance talking about their upcoming exams or where to get lunch. There are plenty of cafes nearby, which is a bit of a distraction, but that’s just part of being in this specific part of town. Our office has a wooden desk that’s been there since we started, and it’s usually covered in notebooks and stray pens. Sometimes the ceiling fans make a bit of a clicking noise, but you get used to it after a few minutes of sitting there. We don’t spend much time on decorations or making things look like a corporate office. It feels more like a place where you just come, sit down, and do what you have to do. People usually walk from the main bus stop since parking is so difficult to find nearby. It’s a simple setup, really, nothing more than what’s needed for daily classes.
