We are based out in Chakan, in the Khed area. If you’ve ever driven through here, you know it’s a massive hub for all sorts of industries and warehouses. Gayatri Sales isn't a huge operation; we’re a small team handling the sales and distribution of various items that local businesses need. Our day-to-day is mostly about managing stock, taking orders over the phone, and making sure the right boxes get to the right people. It can get pretty chaotic when several trucks arrive at once, and the yard gets crowded. Chakan is a dusty place, especially with all the construction and heavy vehicles moving around. Our office is simple—just some tables, chairs, and a lot of ledgers and invoices. We don't have a fancy showroom. Most of our work is done through talking to people and keeping track of what’s in the warehouse. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, like when the monsoon rains turn the roads to mud, but we keep going. We aren't looking to be famous or anything. We just want to keep the supply moving so our customers don't have to worry about their own production lines stopping. We’ve been in Khed for a while and have seen how much the area has grown. It’s a lot of work, and the hours can be long when things get busy, but it’s what we know. It's an honest business without any big corporate talk or complicated processes.
