Gangavishwa Agro Producer Company Limited

Our company is based at Mahesh Chandrakant Wadle’s place in Murty. That’s in the Ghansawangi area of Jalna. We use the name Gangavishwa Agro Producer Company Limited for all our official stuff. Being in a small place like Murty means everyone knows everyone. We don’t have a big glass building or a receptionist. Usually, you’ll find Mahesh or one of the other members sitting around talking about the current crop prices or what needs to be done for the next planting season. The address is MH-431203 if you’re looking for it on a map. We started this because it felt like a good idea for us farmers in the Ghansawangi area to have a formal way to work together. It’s been a learning process for all of us. There’s a lot of paperwork that comes with being a producer company, but we manage. We aren’t experts in business talk, we just know what happens in the fields. Some days are slow and we just drink tea and talk, and other days it’s all hands on deck to get things moved. It’s an honest living. We stay focused on the local needs of our village and the surrounding district. Jalna can be a tough place to farm, but we have a good group of people here. We don't have a mission statement or anything, we just try to help each other out and stay busy.
