Ganesh Varieties

If you go to Warje Malwadi and look opposite Leelavati College, that is where you will find us. We are Ganesh Varieties. Since we are right across from the college, we get a lot of students coming in for pens, notebooks, and snacks. It’s a lively spot because of all the young people around. We also have things for the houses nearby, like cleaning supplies or kitchen items. The shop is often a bit messy with boxes because we get new stuff in almost every day. I try to keep it organized, but when it’s busy, things just end up where they fit. We’ve been here for a few years now. It’s just a small shop with a metal shutter and a few glass counters. We don't do any big promotions. Most people just see us when they are walking to class or heading home from the market. My wife helps me out during the lunch rush. We have a small stool in the corner where I sit when there aren't many customers. The street outside is always noisy with bikes and cars, but we are used to it by now. It’s a good community here in Warje. We try to stock the brands that the students like, but we keep the basic stuff too. It’s just a regular local shop doing its thing every day from morning until night.
