Ganesh Novelties

Ganesh Novelties is situated right beside Raigad Colony in Pimpri. It’s a local spot that serves the people living in the colony and the surrounding streets. We don't have a huge storefront with big glass windows. Instead, we have a simple shutter and a few display cases that we pull out every morning. The shop is filled with the kind of things people need for their daily lives or for a quick gift. We have bangles, small toys, hair accessories, and some stationery. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when more than three people are inside at once. Most of our day is spent talking to the neighbors. Someone will stop by just to say hello or to ask if we’ve seen their cat. It’s a friendly atmosphere because we’ve been here next to Raigad Colony for a long time. The floor is concrete and we have a small stool behind the counter where we sit when things are slow. We don't do any fancy advertising. People just know we are here because they walk past us every day. Sometimes we get new stock from the distributors and the boxes take up all the floor space for a while. We just work around them. It’s a quiet life for the most part, except for when the local festivals are happening and the whole street gets loud with music and people. We just keep the shop open and wait for whoever needs something.
