Ganesh Car Garage

You can find us in Kharadi at 19/4. Ganesh Car Garage has been sitting here for a good while, and we’ve seen a lot of cars come and go. It’s a busy spot because Kharadi is always growing, but our garage is just a regular place where we get our hands dirty. There’s usually a car up on the lift and parts scattered around the floor while we work. It’s not one of those high-end service centers with a waiting room and free coffee. We have a couple of plastic chairs tucked in the corner if you want to wait, but most people just drop their keys and head to work. We deal with everything from oil changes to engines that have completely given up. The sun hits the front of the garage pretty hard in the morning, which makes it a bit warm, but we’re used to it. We don’t use any fancy computer systems for everything; a lot of it is just listening to the engine and knowing what’s wrong from experience. We talk to our customers plainly about what needs fixing and what can wait a bit longer if they’re short on cash. It’s a neighborhood business, and we like it that way. We spend our days under hoods and crawling under chassis. It’s tough work on the back, but seeing a car drive out sounding better than it came in is a good feeling.
