Ganadhyaksh Agro Shetkari Producer Company Limited

Our group is called Ganadhyaksh Agro Shetkari Producer Company Limited. We operate out of Pimpalgaon Peth and use the space provided by Baban Rangnath Bhosle. It’s a small operation, really. We are just a bunch of local farmers from the village who decided that we should work together instead of competing. Being a 'Shetkari' is what we are first. The company part just helps us with the legal stuff and selling our produce. Pimpalgaon Peth is a small place and news travels fast here. We don't need a lot of marketing because everyone knows who we are and what we grow. We spend most of our time dealing with the soil and the weather. Some years are better than others, that's just farming. We don't have a big mission or any of that corporate talk. We just want to make sure our families are taken care of and that our crops don't go to waste. The office is just a room with some chairs and a desk where we keep our records. It’s nothing special to look at, but it’s where the important decisions happen for our group. We keep it honest and we work for ourselves. If you ever come to Pimpalgaon Peth, just ask for Baban’s place. You’ll find us there talking about the next harvest or the price of seeds. That is pretty much all there is to it.
