Gajanan Mens Parlour

Gajanan Mens Parlour is a small shop in Bhawani Peth. We've been here for several years now. It’s a simple setup with two or three chairs and the usual barber tools. We don't have any big signs or flashy lights. Most people find us because they live nearby or their friends told them about us. We do hair cutting and shaving. Nothing too fancy. The floor is tiled and we spend a lot of time sweeping up hair. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fan running full speed. We have a small bench for people to sit on while they wait. We usually have a local newspaper or two lying around. The area of Bhawani Peth is quite old and busy. There is always the sound of traffic outside. We know most of the people who walk through the door. It’s a friendly place. We don't take bookings; you just show up and wait for a chair to open up. We use standard blades and soaps. Our hands are busy from morning until late evening. It’s just a local business trying to do a good job for the men in the neighborhood. We aren't looking to be the biggest shop, just a reliable one where you can get a decent haircut without any fuss. The neighborhood knows where we are, and we're okay with that.
