Our place is called Gajanan Nivas. It’s located near Pawar Hospital in the Balaji Nagar Dhankawadi part of Pune. The full name we use is Gajanan Maharaj Cocaching Classes And Home Tuation. It’s a bit of a long name, but people usually just call us by the first part. We are situated right on the Near Pawar Hospital Marg. The building is a typical Pune residence where we have set aside space for teaching. Since we also do home tuition, someone is often coming or going to a student’s house. The house has that lived-in feel, which makes the students feel comfortable. We have a small porch where students leave their shoes in a messy pile. Inside, there is a large wooden table where most of the group sessions happen. The 411043 area is a familiar place for everyone here. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us doing the work. Sometimes the doorbell rings in the middle of a lesson, and it’s just a delivery or a neighbor. We just handle it and get back to the books. The atmosphere is very informal. We use normal notebooks and pens, nothing digital or fancy. It’s just about sitting down and going through the syllabus. If you follow the road towards the hospital, you can’t miss Gajanan Nivas. It’s a sturdy building that has been here for years. We like being part of this local community.
