G T Bidkar

You can find G T Bidkar over at Shaniwar Peth on Paud Road. We are in building number 6, specifically in room 101. It’s a fairly standard office building with a lot of other small businesses around us. Shaniwar Peth has a lot of history and you can feel that when you walk around the neighborhood. Our office at 101 is pretty basic. We have a few chairs for people to sit in and a big desk where most of the work happens. The window looks out over a bit of the road, so we see the traffic going by all day. Paud Road is usually humming with activity. We have some old books and ledgers on the shelves that haven't been moved in years. It’s a bit dusty in the corners but we try to keep the main area clean. We start our day early with some tea and a look at the calendar. G T Bidkar is not a place with a lot of flash. We just do our work and talk to the people who stop by. Sometimes the lift in the building is broken, so we have to take the stairs, which is fine. It’s a regular job in a regular part of Pune. We aren't trying to impress anyone with the decor. We just want to get through the day's tasks and head home. That is how it is for us at room 101.
