We’re located on the 29th Main Road in the Parvati area, right here in Bangalore. It’s a busy street, especially when schools are letting out and the parents are picking up their kids. Our space is basically just a few rooms set up with chairs and desks for the students. It’s not a fancy academy with shiny brochures. The walls are covered with old charts and some notes left over from the last lesson. We’ve got a bit of a cramped hallway where students wait their turn. It gets pretty loud in the afternoons with all the talking and the sound of scooters outside. We don’t have a big marketing budget or a professional cleaning crew that comes in every night. Usually, we’re the ones tidying up the benches at the end of the day. The lighting could be better, but it’s enough for reading and writing. We have a small desk near the entrance where we keep the registers. Most of the parents who come by are from the neighborhood, so we end up chatting about local news quite a bit. It’s a simple setup meant for learning, nothing more. We spend our time going over the same subjects day after day, trying to help the kids get through their exams. Sometimes we run out of chalk or the pens go missing, but we manage. It’s just a regular local coaching spot on a busy Bangalore road.
