Furnicraft

Furnicraft is our little shop located on Marve Road over in Sadashiv Peth. We’ve been at 1139 for a while now. If you are looking for furniture or things made of wood, this is where we spend our days. It gets a bit dusty with all the sawing and sanding, but that is part of the charm, I guess. We aren't a big factory with machines doing everything. We do things more by hand here. A lot of people from the neighborhood come by when they need a chair fixed or a small table made. We like the local feel of Sadashiv Peth. It’s a community where people know each other. Sometimes we have a lot of orders and the workshop is a bit of a mess, but we always know where every tool is. We don't use fancy words to describe what we do. We just make furniture that is meant to be used and to last. You won’t find any high-pressure sales tactics here. We just show you what we have or talk about what you need. It is a simple way of doing business, but it works for us. Working with wood takes patience and we’ve learned that over the years. We are just glad to be part of the local landscape here on Marve Road. Every piece we make has a bit of our own effort put into it. It is not always easy, but seeing a finished piece go out the door is a good feeling.
