We’ve got our office for Fullerton India Credit Co Ltd set up at C 40 Green Park II, right along the Magarpatta Citi Road in the Hadapsar area of Pune. If you spend any time in this part of the city, you know exactly how busy that road can get with all the traffic and people moving around. We’ve been operating from this same spot for quite a while now. It isn’t a fancy place with marble floors or anything like that, just a regular office where we get our work done every day. We handle things like personal loans and credit for people who live and work around here. Most of us who work here have lived in Pune for years, so we’ve seen Hadapsar change from a quiet suburb into this huge hub. We just sit at our desks, deal with the piles of paperwork, and talk to whoever walks in the door. Sometimes the phones are ringing off the hook and other times it’s quiet enough to hear the traffic outside. We don’t try to act like some big corporate machine. We’re just regular people trying to help other regular people figure out their finances. There’s a tea stall nearby where we usually go during our breaks, and we know most of the other shop owners on this block. It’s a decent place to work, even if the parking is a bit of a nightmare sometimes. We try to keep things simple for everyone.
