You can find our place at Gat No 312 in Nanakarwadi, which is situated out in Chakan, Taluka Khed. This is a very large industrial area, so there are massive factories and huge warehouses spread out all over the place. Fronius India Private Limited has a pretty good-sized facility here. It’s the main spot where we deal with a lot of technical equipment like battery chargers and specialized welding gear. The atmosphere inside is very much like a working warehouse and a busy office combined into one. We have a lot of wooden crates and boxes coming in and going out every single day. The team we have here is mostly made up of people who really know their way around power electronics and industrial machinery. We don’t spend much of our time working on fancy presentations or marketing materials. Instead, we’re usually in the back area checking on equipment or sitting at our desks helping a customer figure out a difficult technical problem. Chakan can be quite a dusty and noisy place with all the heavy trucks moving around, but it’s definitely the heart of the industry in this region. We’ve been at this specific location for a while now and have seen the entire area grow and change. It’s a fairly long commute for some of us, but we generally like the work we do here. We have a small break room where we all sit together and eat our lunch every day. There isn’t any big hierarchy or corporate drama; we all just pitch in whenever and wherever we are needed. Whether it’s moving a heavy crate or looking at a complicated circuit diagram, we just get on with it. It’s a practical, busy place with a lot going on.
