Freelancer

I've been doing this Freelancer thing here in Pune for a while now. It’s mostly just me sitting at my desk, trying to keep up with everything that comes through the door. Pune is a busy place, and there's always something going on outside my window. I don't have a big fancy office or a bunch of receptionists. It’s just a straightforward setup where I handle the work as it arrives. Some days are quieter than others, which is fine because it gives me time to catch up on paperwork or just grab a tea down the street. People ask how I manage it all on my own, but you just get into a rhythm after a bit. The traffic in the city can be a real headache, so I’m glad I don’t have to commute too far most days. I started this because I wanted to work for myself and not deal with all those corporate meetings that never seem to go anywhere. My setup is pretty basic, just a computer and some coffee, and that’s really all I need to get things done. It’s not always easy, especially when several things pile up at once, but it’s what I do. Pune is a good spot to be based, even with the noise and the crowds. I just keep my head down and work through the list. It’s simple, honest work, and I try to keep it that way without making a big fuss over things or worrying about being corporate.
